Isla del Aire Lighthouse
The Isla del Aire lighthouse is located on the Isla del Aire, an islet situated 1.2 kilometres from the beach of Punta Prima. It is the most difficult lighthouse to access on the whole island of Menorca, as it can only be reached by boat. It was the highest lighthouse in the Balearic Islands until 1977, when the Moscarter lighthouse was built in Ibiza. The island is home to endemic lizards, known as the Black Lizards, which have the ability to change the tone and colour of their body to camouflage themselves with the environment like a chameleon. This lizard, which is a native of Menorca, has become a standard of its own, as its figure is used as an ornament and decoration on countless Menorcan products and handicrafts. The Isla del Aire is home to a great variety of birds during the migration and breeding seasons. Under the islet, we can find a great variety of underwater cavities, and they can be explored during diving sessions, which is very attractive for sea lovers and underwater life explorers, as the place has very rich conditions for marine life.
The lighthouse is NOT open to the public, so it is not possible to visit the interior.
Your best holidays in Punta Prima
Cala Biniancolla
A 15 minute walk away you will find the beautiful Cala de Biniancolla, a picture postcard cala.
What you will notice most if you visit Biniancolla is not its beaches. What stands out above all else in this cala located in the south of the island is its surroundings, which offer a picturesque landscape of typical white houses, with an inlet on the coast that serves as a pier for the small fishing boats that rest in its waters.
It is a place to see, paint and photograph. A place to enjoy simply observing its beautiful scenery. Especially at sunset, when the sun begins to set behind the small houses and its last rays are reflected in its calm waters, the boats are rocked by the gentle waves and everything invites you to stop.
To savour the calm that, for a few brief moments, pervades everything.

Binibeca
Binibeca is a small fishing village located about 7 kilometres from our establishment. Its labyrinthi and whitewashed houses make it one of the most beautiful villages in Menorca.
The fishing village of Binibeca was built in 1972 and, being one of the most touristy places on the island, it has been completely restored.
Its narrow streets and whitewashed houses (which look like something out of a postcard) form a labyrinth in which you will want to lose yourself for a long time. Beaches near Binibeca If you want to combine a visit to Binibeca with a day at the beach, the beach of Binibeca (a short distance away) is very deep, has fine sand and a small pine forest.
In addition to this beach, there are several coves nearby: Biniancolla, Binisafuller, Biniparratx and Binidalí.
